Free Wireless Internet at the Fairmont San Francisco

In appreciation for your continued support of Canada Media Marketplace, we have arranged for you to have complimentary Wi-Fi in your guest room over the program dates. Please note you must book your hotel room under the Canada Media Marketplace room block to receive complimentary Wi-Fi. Wireless internet will also be available during Canada Media Marketplace in all of the meeting rooms.  

 

Wireless network sign-in information will be available onsite.

 

Prior to arrival in San Francisco, we suggest you contact your cell phone provider for voice and data plans while visiting the U.S.

 

CMM Mobile Website

You'll need your smartphone or mobile device to use the CMM Mobile website.

Check your appointment schedule, receive change notifications, and view all profiles anytime.

 

Social Networking

Partners and Media can add social networking contact information for Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts to their profiles. Find Canada Media Marketplace on Twitter at #CMM2018.

 

Partner Profiles
All Partners have an option to upload a logo and one PDF document to their profile page on the web site. Each registered company representative may also upload their photograph. Click here to update your profile.

 

Media Profiles

Under the Profile menu on the web site you will find links to the Media listing and to the Media contact information in Excel format (these pages are updated in real time). There is also a link to the Media profiles in PDF format which is updated daily.

 

Partners will receive a printed Media Directory onsite; however you may find it convenient to download the profiles for all people you are meeting with (in appointment order), by using the link on your online appointment schedule. There is also a second link to allow you to download their contact information in Excel format to make follow-up a snap.

 

Preliminary Schedules

Preliminary schedules will be posted online on March 26, 2018. While you will be able to send email requests to journalists up to and including the day of the marketplace, you should use the online system to fill in any empty slots as soon as possible.

 

If you still have empty slots as of April 5, 2018, please complete the printed request form and return it to us by email prior to April 6, 2018. This allows us time to print and stuff the note into the check-in envelope prior to the participants' arrival and increases the chance that you will receive a positive response. Attire
Attire is business, unless otherwise noted on the schedule of events.

 

What to Bring

Media Marketplace will supply a table sign with your show listing and table number. Banners, freestanding pop-up displays or posters are not permitted. Tablecloths, Laptop PCs, hard copy sales documents/pictures and other low decorative items that fit on your table space are allowed.

 

Table Size

Full tables (2 sets of appointments) are 6' x 30".

Half tables (1 set of appointments) are half of a full table, 3' x 30"

 

Electrical Connections

If you require an electrical connection please contact us no later than March 16, 2018 and Canada Media Marketplace will supply you with an extension cord, which you may be asked to share with another partner. Any requests after this date may not be fulfilled. Partners are recommended to have an extra laptop battery. Please note that there are a limited number of electrical outlets onsite.

   

Shipping Information

Partners should clearly indicate their registered show listing name and table number, which will be shown on the floorplan, on ALL boxes. Quantities should be decided based on the number of appointments. Please remember to bring a copy of your tracking number with you. Remember to be green! Shipping details will be posted here closer to the event.

 

Return Shipping

Charges for return shipments should be arranged directly with the hotel through their in house Business Centre.

Business Center Hours
The Business Center is located on the Terrace level and is available to guests 24 hours 7 days a week, with a room key.

An attendant is available for your convenience during the hours of; Monday- Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m
